Triathlon is painful enough without your clothing chafing, riding up, and causing immeasurable amounts of discomfort. The Louis Garneau Comp Shorts seek to minimize clothing-related anxiety so that the only pain you’ll feel on race day will be from your pumping legs. To deliver the perfect fit, the Garneau Comp Shorts use a 12-panel design, constructed of Garneau’s Endurexx fabric. This material is shaped to the female body’s contours to deliver stellar support with a slight compressive factor. This compression minimizes the muscles’ reaction to vibration, which reduces fatigue and increases resistance. Further along these lines, Garneau included its Powerband compressive leg cuffs. Like Endurexx, Powerbands are soft-to-the-touch, non-restrictive, and promote circulation throughout the legs. For even further comfort, the Comp Shorts use flatlock seams, and feature Garneau’s Mini Dryfleece Light chamois. This chamois is designed to be quick-drying. The shape of the chamois is thin and conforming, and touts a barely-there design that provides cushioning for the bike and comfort for the swim and run. For training purposes, the shorts are impervious to chlorine (up to 15 times the prescribed swimming level) and have been given reflective accents for low-light conditions. They feature a single back mesh pocket for race day nutrition. The Louis Garneau Comp Women’s Shorts are available in the colors Candy purple, Black/white, Atomic blue, and Diva pink. They also come in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.
